So I decided I needed "flower pics" like so many ladies here have taken that I love! Of course, that requires flowers and I have none! So in my best efforts to copycat these pics, I decided to try pairing my ring up with some wooden flowers I got at Adult Nationals in March and I love how the purple is reflected in the diamond. Thought I''d share... maybe I''ll get some "real" flower pics at a park or something. PS it was cloudy when I took these....

I have a weird question for you... Most of the pears I''ve seen were worn with the pointy tip pointing the fingertip (

) and I noticed that you''re wearing it the other way. I don''t think there''s any "right or wrong way" to wear a ring (as long as it''s on your finger

), but I still wonder why you chose to wear it that way. Maybe there''s no reason at all, but I''m just curious.

Anchor, it''s funny you asked b/c that same question got asked over in the SMTR forum, and since then, I''ve heard of people wearing it both ways...my reason was that that''s how Matt put it on me to begin with!

But, besides being cheesy about something like that, I *did* try it on the other way, and I actually prefer how it looks on me like this. And I like that my wedding band will go under the pointy side, too. One lady responded that she heard that if you are "taken," then the pointy side points toward your heart. That could be totally made up for pear-wearers like myself, but I thought that was sweet.

I wondered about that too...I always heard through the grapevine that pears are worn tip down because it makes your finger appear longer. (?) I say who cares...if I had a huge honkin pear I''d wear it however I wanted!

P.S. For the record, I''d wear my ring whichever way M put it on my finger also! You''re not crazy!!!
