sooo.... we had the "OFFICIAL" timeline talk last night... and i know that it will be sometime in the next 4-6 weeks (hmmmmmm.... that's juuuuust about how long it takes for rings to be ordered and come in, isn't it? ... anyway.. here's the real question....

HOW IN THE WORLD AM I SUPPOSED TO KEEP COOL ABOUT THIS????.. i'm ready to jump out of my skin and scream "IT'S COMING! IT'S COMING! IN 4 TO 6 WEEKS.. HEY EVERYONE!!! I WILL BE ENGAGED IN THE NEXT 4 to 6 WEEKS"...

seriously, how funny would that be?

anyhoo.. words of advice? manicure schedule? paraffin treatment on my hands? heck.. should i just start planning the wedding now?

thanks! just had to share with my anonymous friends.... i couldn't tell my "real" ones.. they would just get me too nervous....

I remember when J gave me his 2006 timeframe in November, I wanted to shout it to the rooftops! So I understand how you feel. 4 to 6 weeks is soon!! Yay!

well.. my best friend is getting married in 1 month.. ...and all of the "girls" have taken to calling her wedding "our wedding" since we are a very tight knit group of girls... plus, she''s the first to get married..... and we are 29.. can you believe that? she''s the first! this is big.

so honestly, i didn''t want our engagement to take away from her wedding at all.. AND we are closing on our house and buying a new house at the end of june sooooo... it just all seems pointing to the end of june early july....... and only after 4 years together and 1.5 years of me being "ready".

actually, during our talk yesterday, he told me that he was planning on being engaged before the wedding but with our current home sale and buying a new house AND her wedding it just got to be all too much.... finally an "excuse" i can understand we are a bit stressed right now.... and i''d like to enjoy every min. of this without being too stressed about other things.

as far as the "ring".... i''ve been all over the place.. i''ve even contacted people about having a custom ring made.... but when we actually went to look together, he really was in favor of something a bit different, yet simple... sooooo... we decided on 2 facets 7 stone diamond bands for the e-ring and something a bit different to wear in the middle for my wedding ring.... i''ve already made a paper mock up (and i know i''m not the only one who''s done this .... it''s going to be 6.8 mm of diamonds covering my finger.... ahhhhhh it''s going to be so awesome!

That is so awesome! And can I just say that I am in the library writing my final paper of the year

and I was taking a much needed PS break and I cracked up and got a nasty look from this lady! LOL. I almost had to hide under the desk so I could laugh. Hehehehehe! And your ring sounds just gorgeous and different from the normal ering-wb combo. I can''t wait to see pics!
