well....he has it...the ring is in his possession...yup i know it...how do i know it...well him and my sister went to pick it up...

did i see it NOPE

did i see the pretty wooden box YUP

haha HE HAS IT!!!

as much as i am dying to see it i want to wait until he offically proposes...even if i saw the CADS i want to be surpirsed with the final product...from what i hear from my sister my ring is amazing and blinding

so how did you ladies deal when you knew that the ring was in his possession? my gosh i feel like its going to drive me crazy!!

oh well i better focus of finals...i just thought you ladies may have some awesome advice for me....please

If you really think you can''t deal see a shrink. But since I think you''re just being exuberant, I''ll simply say go about your life and do your thing...albeit with a bigger smile on your face due to your impending engagement.

Just keep busy. Is there really any other way?

haha i dont need a shrink...this is just all new to me im sure i can be patient and wait i mean ive been wiating this long how hard can it be...i guess im just exited...what girl wouldnt be right?

last night we were talking before i went to bed and he was like "em ever since i hung up the phone like an hour ago all i did was look at your ring" yea real nice of him and hes like" i seriously think your going to be amazed...it like screams your name, your personality...its perfect!" and i was a bit jealous but seeing his exitment made me realize i don''t want to see it and ruin this for him!!!

and hes like "you have no idea just how soon its actually going to happen...you really have no idea" and i was like "yea right (jokingly) knowing you your going to wait till the last possible moment to do it" and hes like "no its so close...i know the place, the time, the people...its all set you just have to wait"

so im thinking within the next week or so i will be posting a very anticipated thread!!! but i have to run i have class at 9 and everything is snow covered here in Chicago! thanks again for your sweet words guys!!!

Hopefully it will happen real soon! To be honest, I wasn''t that impatient when he had the ring. I obviously really wanted it to happen, but I was really looking forward to seeing how it was going to plan out.

Pre-congratulations on your up coming engagement. My BF at the time had the ring for 3 days, before he proposed. Oh, BTW, I picked it up from the Fed Ex station, drove home with it, carried it in the mall, (i didn''t want to leave it in the car). Handed it over to him and he opened it right in front of me. I coudn''t see it, though, because he covered it with his hands. Then to top it off, I found it 2 days later, but did not look. He proposed the next day! Talk about torture and restraint, in a nut shell. I can say that I was anxious in the sense of "OMG it''s really going to happen", then it turned into excitement, then it turned into, let him give it to me on his own time, after all I know he has it!!! It was great..Moments like these you''ll never forget. So just hang in there. You will get it soon. I, too, think it will be in the next week. I have a feeling. I think you did post your CADs right? I need to look them up. yay!! oh go get a mani so your hands will look great. ( I had my nails done literally 3 hours before the proposal)

Louisvgirl- yea i had the CAD''s up but M didnt like the idea too much of me posting them before the final ring was complete so i took them down...and yea my guy is one of those who knows about our beloved PS...

If it''s anything like I felt, it''s definitely worth the wait!! Even though I knew that he had the ring, when he proposed I was so surprised and it was absolutely brilliant seeing how much effort and thought he had put into it. Seriously, enjoy it all! I would love to relive the whole thing again and ringing our friends and family. It''s so much fun!
