This is a Faberge doorknob - he used pink topaz, but can you imagine how this would look with red spinel? A pendant, or such... it will be plumper, but beautiful in MOP or milky opal.

I have exhausted all funds for red spinels, but I can dream, can I not? I even have iridescent MOP. Sigh.

Not a threadjack - I might as well name her Scottish Gold - she has a wonderful personality!

On Memorial Day weekend, I was flying away for a day, and she saw me going down with a valise. She ran up the stairs and blocked my way. Made the connection between the valise and my trip. Didn't like it.
