One lonely, lonely diamond....

I have one of my DH's Aunty J's ering diamonds left (the 2 larger diamonds were used in my new engagement ring). The poor little thing has a chip on one of it corners, so it will need to be bezeled.

I am thinking along the lines of a nice pendant. I have 24 half pointers, and 4 2x1mm baguettes that I can use. The thought crossed my mind that I could use the baguettes around the princess, but I have no idea how it would end up looking. I tried drawing it, but I am a little hopeless in that department!

Has anyone seen anything that looks similar to what I am describing? Did work visually? I ask because I am going to be talking to a jeweller sometime in the next few days, and am wondering if it is even worth bothering him with.

I will upload a few pics of the stones as soon as my battery charges.

hmmm, how bout something like this only bezel inside ? or modify this design a bit, turn it at an angle and have the bail on the corner instead?

Thank you. I knew I had seen that design somewhere before! I am really torn between this and the famous PS halo. This is different, and I like different, but the halo will likely stand the test of time better...

I actually have a pic of the other design saved... It will save us all from having to look at my chicken scratch drawings!

I am more of a yellow gold girl, so I would have the inner bezel in white gold, then the rest in yellow.

oooh that looks beautiful, and I like the two tone idea. I am myself a yellow gold girl too.
