One Tucson project completed...Mahenge Garnet Ring

Last year I purchased a gorgeous peachy pink precision cut Mahenge Garnet at the Tucson show. It's taken a minute to decide how to set it,

The following pictures show what happens when you bring a gemstone and enthusiastic friends with you to Tucson I did fall in love with this setting, and with them by my side practically shouting DO IT, the ring was hard to resist! Love how it turned out.

It's hard to capture the exact color of this stone, it seems to shift to a variety of light and deep tones depending on the light. Practically glows in the sun!

Well isn't that a delicate beauty! And every time you glance at it, you'll be reminded of the fond memories you created in Tucson. That's something you don't get when ordering online, as most of us do 99% of the time. It's lovely... enjoy!!

Thanks everyone! It's a unique stone for sure, forgot to mention it's appx 2.5 carats and 7.5 mm. The setting is 14k with .96 carats of G/VS1-VS2 natural diamonds. It was a fun memory and trying it in a variety of settings helped. I had it in a different setting, my friend ended up buying that one (along with a sapphire). So we each bought rings from the same vendor, same day. Good stuff. Here's the mahenge in that setting, and then then our completed rings.
