Are you looking to buy the diamond or setting or both from an online vendor? I have worked with Whiteflash and Good Old Gold. Loved them both and you really REALLY can't beat the customer service! I have earrings from Whiteflash and an AVC from Good Old Gold. You should definitely shop around though to make sure you are getting the best deal for what you want.

PS vendors I've presonaly dealt with:

I purchased my e-ring from Good Old Gold and was very pleased with their customer service, the quality of their diamonds, and the workmanship of the diamond setting. I had no trouble dealing with them and it was no trouble to have my ring shipped to BC in Canada.

I've also purchased diamond studs from whiteflash and was very pleased with what they had to offer as well. They even phoned me to confirm all the purchase details.

I'm sure that other highly acclaimed PS vendors will take good care of you as well.

Thinking long-term: Keep in mind that each vendor offers a different upgrade/buy-back policy and some are much better than others. Cheaper vendors may not offer these policies.

My DH bought my diamond from Blue Nile. Not many will recommend them because they aren't as personal, but I got an *amazing* deal on an even more amazing stone, so I always like to throw them out there as an option too!
