Hi All

I am not an expert at all on sapphires, but looking at this ring as a wedding gift for my Significant Other.

Any help and thoughts would be really appreciated.

Thanks

It's a very distinct style. Sure your partner likes something like this?

That I am confident about. We both have very strange tastes in jewelry.

What I don't know is if this price is reasonable for the sapphires. They are GIA certified.

It’s a very beautiful ring but it is expensive for what it is.
this is often the way with antique jewellery, the rarity adds to the price.
the sapphires are lovely, well matched in colour albeit smallish, the total weight being 2.26 carats.
I would ask the vendor for a photo of the ring on a human hand, that way you can better visualise the actual dimensions, the always look ”bigger” when photographed with no size reference.

@andrewcarter173 Here's a similar ring at a slightly better price point, though the Erstwhile listing is a bit light on details.

The top & middle sapphire look crooked on the 1st Dibs ring; although maybe it’s just my eyes.

I see that it is discounted so this may not apply: there is generally a fait bit of wiggle-room on 1st Dibs pricing. I have heard vendors bumping their prices by 20+ % just so there is haggling room.
