Sorry for the downer topic, but my cousin passed away. I don''t have much info., but she was living in Orange, California. Can someone tell me a likely place that an obit would be placed? Is Orange a suburb of Los Angeles? Any help appreciated. Thx.

Z.

I don''t have an answer, but I am very sorry for your loss. I would do a search on the internet for newspapers in that area and then type in Obits. Hope that helps or someone else will chime in. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.

I too am sorry for your loss. Is it known as Orange County? Some of the Californians might chime in and advise you.

I am so sorry. Maybe call Times Orange Country edition...they might know.

Thanks for your sympathy, and the info.

My cousin is quite a bit older, and I didn''t know her that well. Her health wasn''t good lately, but we thought she had stabilized. I checked the L.A. Times and a few websites. That side of the family is notoriously disorganized, so there may be no obituary ad. My other cousin is overloaded, and I wanted to try and find an address for flowers on my own. Thx again.

I''m very sorry for your loss. No doubt it would be in the OC Register like Suzy posted.

So sorry to hear about your cousin...

I am sorry for your loss. I second SuzyQ''s recommendations re LA Times and OC Register. Some families are also doing them online now with electronic memory books and sympathies - the sites are vast for that otherwise I would put some links to try to help.

You might also check www.legacy.com. Some newspapers automatically post their obits there.
