Yesterday I resigned my job I really didn’t like.
It was such a relief that I thought to offer myself a diamond to celebrate this decision.

PS is not just an addiction, it’s a way of life!

Well, the diamonds I would love to wear are definitely not reasonable, so I gave up.

I was as looking at an auction and found this gorgeous CS bunch.
I bid very little money and won the auction!

This might be only glass or plastic but I Love the colors and especially the octagon cut blue stone...

I will take a few days before I can look at it in person , but I am as excited as a small child the day before Christmas.

I also love the auction title: colored stones to be determined;-)

Here in Germany we are in total lockdown since mid-December so it might take a bit of time before I can show it to my jeweler.

Anyway, this is nice food for brain as I am homeschooling my 4 children between 5 and 12 yo, and getting slowly nuts....[/ATTACH]

Congrats on being able to walk away from a job you don't like and stay at home with your children while they are home! That is a luxury not afforded to many. I so want to do the same, but have certain financial goals that I want to hit before I do so. I sympathize with the homeschool struggle! My 3 youngest are still doing it and it stinks!

As for your stones, they are pretty! I suspect the dark blues to be synthetic, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing! It's fun to try to figure it out and can be a nice distraction for your Mommy brain.

Uhhhh, my sympathy for homeschooling - we had that during first lockdown and I’m rather happy schools are open now. And congratulations on walking away from your job. What was it? You deserve a treat!!

Congratulations - on all fronts! Can't wait to hear your impression of the stones when they arrive :)

What a fun and pretty purchase! Love the colors! And good luck with the kids. Thank goodness mine are adults!

I have had the last two years at home after working my whole life
although i have (alot of) money stress i know overall i am less streeesed and happier being away from a topic work enviroment that had completly destroyed my confidence

Enjoy the time at home with your kids
Regroup, relax and collect your thoughts all at your own pace
Have fun with the kids
And have fun with those lovelly stones !

Best wishes to you and your family and what ever the future holds for you
