I''m SO JEALOUS!! With buying the house, I don''t know if I''m going to get a wedding band! LOL.. I probably will get one.. but i''m starting to get nervous about getting my eternity band in time. The originaly plan was to order it in February.. and its NOT in the budget at this moment..

Not to swipe Tybee's thread, but I'm getting our w-bands from www.e-weddingbands.com. They have a platinum 2mm starting at $162, and WG bands starting at $44! Can't beat that! And you can always get an eternity band a little later on.

That's my plan, anyway. I can't get the Facets Asscher band I want because the wedding budget has kind of gotten a bit out of control with only 2 months to plan. I've suggested to Weston that it's a perfect gift for our 5th anniversary . . . or some other time down the road.

I am SO jealous that you two are buying a house! All I want right now is a cute little house, looks like we''re about two years away from that! UGH! I''ll be almost 40 before owning my own home! At this point I think I''d take a house over bling any day.

I''m getting a Raphael eterninity ring. The diamonds are round brilliant and are about a carat total weight. We tried them on at Signed Pieces when we visited NYC this Christmas.

I didn''t want to take it off. I am also getting a very simple 2 mm platinum band as my "everyday" band...feels a little greedy, but I''m super excited.

FI is getting a milgrain edge platinum band.

Pricescope did this to me. I am a tomboy who once told her fiance that I didn''t need diamonds!

Lauren.. Thats a good idea.. but FI would NEVER go for it.. He''s all about the symbolism of the wedding band so he''d not want me to get a temporary band that I''d swap out later on.. He sold a car with a big commission on his first day of his new job yesterday.. so things are looking up! Maybe I''ll just get a thinner eternity band. You can get one with 3 pt. stones for under $1000 from facets in my size in WG..

Tybee - You can share our house and I''ll share your wedding band.. I LOVE your band.. its GORGEOUS.. Thats about the size I originally wanted.
