Our Stamps Came

I''ll admit it, I''m a freak about my dogs, Penny and Tybee (my sign on name

)
One of my regrets about having a destination wedding is that they won''t be there!
So we decided to be completely goofy and have their picture put on our stamps.

Fi just called to say they arrived today! I can''t wait to see them! Guess we''re addressing and
mailing invites this weekend

Here''s the picture I chose. I love how Penny (my harlequin) looks so goofy in it. She''s such a bozo.
Note how they sit actually on their butts, two strange beasts.

That is the one thing that I''m dreading.... I cannot stand to think of being without my little boy (yes, my dog) for over a whole week - and having to board him... It makes my heart hurt!!

Such a good idea!! I''m sad I didn''t think of it! I thought about custom stamps but didn''t know what to put on them... the DOGGIES of course!!! Duh!

I''m sad that our babies won''t be at our DW too.

Anytime they''re not around (at the groomer''s or being boarded) I''m really aware of their absence. I''ll miss them!

also, though most of you probably already know this, the post office has come out with new wedding stamps (in 39c for the return envelope inside and in like 63c for the invitation if it requires more than 39 c.)

they''re kind of pretty, with doves on them.

That''s awesome, Tybee! We did customized stamps for our invitations too--with a beach picture & our names on them. (I don''t think I posted them on PS) We loved ours--they were really big, which worked well on our square envelopes.

Did you get these stamps from the Post Office? I was at the USPS website and I can''t find anything about custom stamps. I''m sure my fiancee would love to include her dog on the invitations if there was a nice way to do it.
