We chose our wedding bands on Saturday, mine was ordered on Monday, and my FI''s will be ordered today since he picked the diamond size he wanted yesterday. They are both custom orders from the jeweller who made my ering and we''re very excited. The quality and workmanship are wonderful, without the high-end store markups. They should be ready in about a month. We can''t wait to see them...
We shopped around for ideas and found our inspiration bands at a fancy store called Le Parchemin in Montreal. I fell in love with a 2mm WG band with 9 1-pointers individually set on the top half of the band. However, I wanted it to be thinner (1.5mm) to match my ering better and in the same WG/palladium alloy I love so much, so we decided to try to have it custom made. It almost didn''t work out (long story), but I''m so glad it did in the end!
A WG comfort fit 6mm band with a brushed finish in the center and polished finish at the edges and 5-pointer diamonds caught my FI''s eye. At our jeweller''s, he found something similar, with milgraining between the brushed center and polished edges but no diamonds, and he asked for YG edges and diamonds to be added.
