motownmama thank you! I didn''t ask him about a spacer. It just occurred to me last night. I won''t be wearing it until June so there is no rush, but I''ll talk to him the next time I''m near the area.

whitby ROSE GOLD SPACER!!! My goodness, trust PS''ers to know style! I was thinking platinum so that the spacer will be the one getting chewed up, but I was wondering about the difference in whiteness. Thank you, I''ll definitely consider a rose gold spacer!! Wooo, I''m so excited!

chiquitapet, thanks! I like how FI''s ring sort of matches my ering (it''s yellow + white gold). It''s a catalog item from Artcarved, but it''s still pretty nice.

Wow choro what a beautiful set! My ering has lots of swirls in it too, so I particularly love yours! The tulips are just gorgeous!!

I would think that the one prong against the closer tulip may rub some, so maybe a custom spacer would help. I know nothing about them though so I'm not much help. But I LOVE your rings!

FI actually found it at a local jeweler. We did our diamond research on PS and online, so we definitely knew what we were doing and looking for. But he showed me that setting along with a bunch of others and asked me to pick my favorite, and I picked the one I have now, which was his favorite too! Hehe it makes me smile.

What NEAT rings! Kudos to you for going for something SO unique and original! LOVE THEM! Add me to the list of the people who say the colours look perfect together (purple and orange are complementary colours on the colour wheel, and the rose gold really has an orange tone to it from the copper)

Haha... Clearly you are the one in the family that has great taste!!! As far as I am concerned, there is no rules concerning what one would want in a wedding band/ering. My original ering looks like a "cocktail" ring but it was what I wanted at the time!! I see you loving this ring for a lifetime!! Have you considered doing another purple sapphire band on the other side of the ring? That would be beautiful too!!!
