Hi old cut pricescopers @elizat @Cerulean !

Adam is comparing two diamonds for me. Opinions please! The loose one is deeper so it does face up smaller but I think it I see kozibe? But don’t want the depth to contribute to darkness in the center.

To share videos, you can post them for free on YouTube or Vimeo. You can’t add them as attachments.

It’s hard to assess from just that video alone. Adam is usually really good at sharing videos, maybe he can also post them to Instagram for you and you can share a link here?

And before anyone critiques, would be good to know what kind of “flavor” OEC you want. Do you want a more flowery pattern? An older OEC that’s maybe a little wonkier but more kozibe? If you pick out an image of your fave OEC you’ve seen, that would help.

Thank for you that!

Adam had hand picked another one but it had every inclusion in the book but at a VS1 and I was not sure how comfortable I was:

I like the one in the setting the most. The other one is nice too but something about under the table. I am seeing some a little
bit of darkness??? Maybe a little bit of leakage around the edge of the table? I would ask Adam about it.

The one in the setting is also a tad bigger.

The 3rd stone...
At a VS1 the inclusions should not be an issue as far as seeing anything or being a problem with the integrity of the stone. However,
I get your point...kind of a mind-clean issue. I would want to see a video of it next to the one you pick as your favorite from the other
two...then talk to Adam about the inclusions if you find you like the faceting pattern more on the 1.12. Also just noticed its an L so you
are dropping a little in color if that's something that might bother you.

I do see the leakage under the table as well and I did ask him about it and he said really both are beautiful. I am preferring the one in the setting as well so your analysis confirms this for me. Yes, I noticed the L too but I trust his eyes but those inclusions! LOL :)

Both are pretty but I like the one in the setting best too, I like the faceting and it looks lively. Looks bigger too lol

eh, antiques have character. a vs2 is probably fine, and honestly everything is close to the girdle for the most part, id probably put it in at least 6 or 8 prongs to protect some of them tho

are there images of this one?

so far, i like the one in the setting a lot

this one on his site looks like it could be very pretty, but im not sure what your budget is:

It’s VS1 and in the center:

I have a phone appointment with him in the morning. Thank you !

Not an OEC expert, just an admirer, but I also liked the one in the setting from the first video. The one in the new video of the VS1 is looking very lovely too! Are you getting that one in a new video side by side with your pick from the first two?

Hi! I am really digging the color/clarity combo on the first one so leaning on pulling the trigger on that one in the morning when I speak with Adam. Thank you so much for your thoughts !

Which is the “first one”?

Which is the “first one”?

Oh sorry that was confusing ! Thank you for checking in ! (the one in the setting is the first stone I reached out above so I referred to it as the “first one”).

@Cerulean I think it's the one in the setting in this video

yes! I know the initial Gia report posted at the top does not belong to the “first stone” so that was confusing.

The one in the 3 stone looks nice too but don't see any reason to choose it over the first one in the setting (considering lower color/
mind cleanliness).

I think you're making a good choice...hope you love it in person! Let us know! BTW, what are your plans for it?

@tyty333
I had plans for a belcher or buttercup ring to wear on my middle finger but then I saw another 1920’s-1940’s inspiration!

Vote for the one in the earring setting. The overall facet pattern is way better. Facing up bigger also doesn’t hurt.
