THANKS for posting his info on the "photographer" post not too long ago. I checked out his site,
http://www.accentoflight.com and really liked what I saw!

I contacted him, and he''s available on my wedding date. FI and I have a consultation with him on Monday!

Did you meet with him in person? Any advice? Did he "throw" anything in, or was open to negotiating? His prices are competitive, but it never hurts to ask for more!

I like how he has a "basic" package, and you can add what you want to it. We''re going the digital route!

I''m sooo excited! He''s the first photographer we''re meeting with. I''ve heard that you should meet with a couple, but did anyone just meet with one and book them??

We only met with one and booked him. But he shot a friend''s wedding and I knew I loved his work. He''s pricey so I looked at others to see if I could find a comparable photographer for less - and I coudn''t. He was the gold standard as far as I was concerned, so no one was going to touch him. I will add this though - ask to see his album of a full wedding - anyone can take a few great pictures at 15 different weddings, but someone really good will get tons of great ones from the same wedding. THANKS somethingblue! I have checked him out- he''s a member of the Wedding Photojournalst''s Society, and has a ton of postitive recommendations on pictage.com. I know that this is not a substitute for reviewing more of his work in person, but I feel good that I''ve done some homework.

Anyone else care to chime in about booking the first photographer you meet with??

I just saw this charger girl, did you meet with him? I never met him, I was living in Chicago when I booked him. Hope hes nice! My Fi got a great vibe from him, hope hes right.
