So, my stone came last week, but I have been so busy with Easter and egg hunts and such that I haven't had a chance to post about it! It's absolutely stunning, even on a cloudy British day! It doesn't black out like some garnet does either.

I was toying with doing aperture science, but Bryce suggested "cut corners" by Rand, so I went with his suggestion. I think aperture science would look amazing in this material though!

Thanks @lovedogs I'm so excited to set it now! I think I may have to break into the savings and get some rounds cut for matching earrings too

So, I love this material so much I've asked Bryce to cut me a pair of rounds for earrings . So once I've saved some more pennies and got all the stones I will get them all set and have a little YAG parure for myself

Bryce has finished the rounds for my earrings and they look amazing! Hard to get a good picture though. I'm really excited to get the whole lot set now!
