I read last week in a very reputable source (Australia''s NW magazine

) that Paris Hilton was engaged? Something about her new boy toy (also named Paris) proposing because she bugged him to, because she wanted to beat Nicole Richie to the alter, yadda yadda yadda. Figured it was just a dumb rumour.

But she''s wearing a ring at the Oscars ...

Ugh. Like the Trump wedding wasn''t bad enough, there''s going to be a Paris Hilton wedding? And god help the world if she procreates ...

Didn''t someone else get a canary diamond recently? Oh..right, I just read about Heidi Klum''s ring from Seal, which has a canary diamond.

Will be interesting to see if Paris is really engaged or not...like that will last...

Well, the girl could afford to buy the hope diamond and chuck it on a band, but wearing it on the e-ring fingers suggests perhaps the rumours are true.

And I'm sure it'll last ... they'll have thousands of fat babies and live happy ever after, and be buried in adjoining plots ...

Or possibly just make (and accidentally leak) a sex video then move on ...

It''s amazing how a young woman raised in high society with millions of dollars at her disposal can be so completely lacking in class. What must her parents think of her? If I had been the star of not one but TWO pornographic videos circulating on the internet my parents would disown me! Engaged or not, there''s always some kind of scandal when Paris is involved. I doubt it''s an engagement ring...honestly Paris seems so into climbing her own star that I doubt she''d want to bring anyone else along for the ride just yet...she doesn''t seem interested in marriage at all from what I have read, but rather is building her ''empire'' and working her butt off in modeling, TV, movies to make more $$. Guess she is tired of using the Hilton money? Yea right! Hee.

Not to mention she''d been dating this Paris guy for a few weeks only...doubt even SHE moves THAT fast??
