Pave initial pendant push present

One month ago my son was born, and now that we’re starting to feel like we’re getting into a parenting groove my DH has asked me to give some thought to a push present.

I’m kind of drawn to the idea of a pave initial pendant that I can layer with the bezel solitaire slider that was my wedding gift from my in-laws, and the Elsa perretti DBTY aqua necklace that was the first piece of jewelers DH gave me when we were dating (omg feels like aaaaages ago!) and Aqua just happens to be baby boys birthstone! Both DH and baby share the same first initial so that would add meaning to the “stack”.

Do any of you lovelies have a pave initial/letter, or recommend a vendor that either has good stock quality or who would do it justice as a custom piece? I might be overthinking it but I don’t want something that will drop stones...

I’ve bought a few affordable pieces from Mejuri and I
they have pave letters in yellow gold. Might have to buy a separate chain though.

Congrats on your new baby boy! I had one pave initial pendent that I bought from a local jeweller that after infrequent wear dropped a stone. Are you looking a specific size (height)? I got another one from Roberto Coin (occasionally on sale at Saks and I used Saks gift card from another sale). They’re tiny though less than 1/4”.

Can I ask what letter you are looking for? Some fonts are better than others IMO.

Stephanie Gottlieb carries a lot of designers on her site who are all very focused on this kind of personalization. Maybe you will find a stock piece you love, or get inspired for a custom piece!

Ooo these are all great ideas! Thank you! I had seen the Mejuri ones but not sure about the long term durability. What has been your experience with them @Girlfriday17 ?
