A local pawn shop here in Australia is selling a diamond solitaire and the diamond is GIA certified. Because it is from back on 2005 there is not cut grade so I don't know if the numbers are worth considering. Any thoughts??

Its definitely not what we would recommend on PS. But if you like it and the price is good it might be worth buying.

Its much deeper than most folks prefer, and the pav angle is super steep.

Do you have a picture? It sounds like a transitional stone to me (an old European style with a slightly larger table, but smaller table than a round brilliant), which it wouldn’t say on the certificate. It might be beautiful!

It is a badly cut MRB. With those proportions and 80% lower half, it is not a tranny or OEC either.
