Pear shaped turquoise pendant

Another turquoise pendant happened today!
I had this stone for a few years, and I was never motivated to make a setting for it. I just wasn't a big fan of the pear shape.

Suddenly I decided to sketch a few designs for this stone, and quickly came up with one that I was excited about.

It's funny how the ideas come when you least expect them.

Thanks! I think it turned out ok!
I prefer to make my loop this way on the back. It prevents the pendant from flipping. I finish the back with steel wool for a matte effect. The D is my first initial.
The back of the piece must be as neat as the front!
