I absolutely love pears! And really any other non-traditional shape... ironically my e-ring is a mine cut round, but as it was a family stone, it would've been very tacky to say 'ey, can we trade this in?" LOL!

My husband likes looking at sparklies too, and has agreed that when we're more financially sound, he'd be happy helping me design a pear RHR that I love. Woohoo! Keep them coming ladies, they're ALL lovely!

Hi Fancy Diamond,

I wanted to ask you if you'd mind if I make myself a necklace very similar to yours. Some PSers are flattered by someone copying their design and some are offended.

I'm not making it very soon. I'm leaving that project to celebrate the end of a health situation I'm stuck in and that won't be until next year- at least. But the wheels in my brain are churning with ideas and plans. That would be my "it's finally over" present.

Stats please?

1.02 ct, F, SI...not sure of the dimensions off the top. I had the pear reset into the halo... which use to be a pendant and the jeweler suggested soldering it to the diamond band he had. I was not sure how it would turn out.........but I was over the moon when I picked it up!! I couldn't even pretend to guess the total diamond weight as the diamonds are tiny and numerous in the halo setting. It is 18kwg E-F colored diamonds/VS.
