I'm a member of Soldiers' Angels and we're writing to hundreds of our Soldiers all over. My adopted Soldier is in Iraq. Have you been adopted yet? Are you receiving care packages from home?

No hurry on getting married...you're doing great on your own! I'm really looking forward to seeing you face to face as soon as you visit WF and/or my area and I'm going to give you the biggest hug. THANK YOU for taking such good care of the USA!!!!

No, I'm not adopted. There's a lot of lower ranking soldiers that also aren't adopted, so I prefer they be instead of me. I'm an E-5 and twice the age of some of these soldiers. My mom send me some stuff occasionally. I have her send me drink mixes and chocolate when it's cool enough to mail it.

Definitely no rushing into marriage, I've been down that road before and don't want to choose near as badly as I did before.
