Photo Frame...

I wanted to do multiple photo frames and was wondering how many of these you think I''d need for 140ish guests - the size is 16.5 x 16.5 and the pic is only 4x4... they''re from Crate and Barrel

I don''t understand your question. Are the frames autograph mattes and you are asking how many frames it will take for 140 guests? Or are you using the frames as decorations? Or as gifts?

We had a 16 X 20 with an 8X10 picture in it for ~160 guests...So you''d probably really only need one! But two would definitely be enough!

Ours are 14x14, with room for a 5x7 picture. We have 4 for about 75 guests.

We had enough room with ours that many of our guests wrote us relatively lengthy notes, which are fun to read. If we had less room, I have a feeling that we''d have more signatures and less notes. Do you know if you just want signatures, or would like for your guests to have room to write you things as well? That would affect how many you should get.

Honestly, when we bought ours, I was thinking more about how many I would like in terms of how I could arrange them on the wall than how many I would like for all of our guests to have an appropriate amount of room to write. With our four, we can arrange them in a horizontal row (like they are now), a vertical row, a square, or some other arrangement, depending on what space we want to put them in. I think that two frames next to each other on the wall wouldn''t be as interesting visually as several.

We used the one from pottery barn. I am not sure of the overall size but it holds an 8x10 photo. It had plenty of room and I think we had 130 guests. Most couples only did one note from both.

Thanks everyone for the responses - the frames aren''t write-onable as I thought, so I''m nixing the idea out of frustration. maybe I''ll come back to it in a couple weeks. haha
