Photo of the pink spinel pendant

Just had this pink spinel set. What do you think?

The color of the stone is the color at the top of the pendant. The stone is really all one color and doesn't get darker at the bottom like it seems in this photo.

GOG set it for me and just sent me this photo.

Does this have a, sort of, antique look to you?

My first thought looking at that is "modern romantic." White gold and such finely-faceted clear pink stones weren''t very common in ye olden days...Victorian jewelry was more rose gold, pearls, and dark or opaque stones, and the Art Deco classics were gold, enamel, more opaque stones, and of course platinum with diamond/emerald/ruby/sapphire.
