Just-picked roses from my garden....had to scare away a zillion earwigs before I could bring them into the house! The vase on the right was custom made for me in Venice, Italy. The colors are cobalt blue, deep red, and amber. I''ll try to get a pic of it when it''s backlit from the sun -- que bella.

After seeing the picture of the two ducks with their nest next to the rudder, maybe morning doves aren't the stupidist birds...

I like the two boat pictures too - obviously the 2nd big white one is going to be your upgrade!

We just got back from a little mini-vacation to Mendocino CA. Had three beautiful days of sunny weather and the flowers were just going wild.... I narrowed this down from the huge number I took...hope this is okay...

The petals look like thin wrinkled paper. This was a hard shot because the wind kept moving the flowers petals....took a bunch of shots to get one that was in focus!
