Picked a dress

Hello everyone,

I had posted earlier about non traditional wedding dresses -- a particular Badgley Mischka dress that I ordered from Saks. When I got it, it was way too much material for me. I also tried on the Marchesa gown that another bride was thinking about (but I believe she decided against it in the end). But this one is the one! It is a Badgley Mischka dress, and it fits perfectly -- I don''t have to get any alterations except for height.

What do you all think? Thanks for looking.

Oh and for some background....we are having a beach ceremony and reception -- think laid back but sophisticatedl, with a lot of lanterns, a clear ceiling tent, and a lounge area with pillows and light fabrics looking out on the ocean. I am thinking yellow and green for the color motif.

it''s gorgeous!! but are you sure you don''t need any alterations? it looks like it could use being taken in a smidge! also, are you wearing the proper undergarments? it looks like maybe you aren''t wearing a bra? maybe that''s why i''m thinking it looks a little big....sorry to get so personal, hahaha

I don''t have my trusty bustier on -- so it will look a little bit different underneath. I am going to go get it altered at any rate for length (I think we might go barefoot) so I will see what the seamstress thinks. Thanks for the input -- we are always getting personal on this baord, so I appreciate your comments

It is a lovely gown but it definitely needs alterations. It either needs to be lossened in the hips to give a flowy effect or tightened in the waist to make it fitted. Once that is done it will look smashing though
