I haven't been posting too much lately because I've been busy with school stuff, but I just wanted to pop by and share some pics. I think I posted a pic I found online earlier, but this is my actual dress. I'm not sure how to bustle it yet (although the buttons and hooks have already been sewn in), so I just left the train loose. What kind of jewelry and veil do you think would look best? I'm 5'1' and size 2 if that makes a difference.

Thanks for your feedback!

Wow, that's a beautiful dress!!!!!!!!

I'd stick with something simple for the veil because you don't want it to detract from the beautiful beadwork of the dress. Plus, I think that simple veils look the best in pictures.

Jeez, i don't remember the last time I was a size 2!! hehe

Well, being a size 2 in vanity-sized clothes is not too hard if you''re 5''1''''! But I''m a size 2 in wedding dresses too, which surprised me. I think I hold most of the weight in my thighs, which doesn''t affect the measurements. Ha!

i love your dress!! i have a similar reem. i am doing med. size chandelier earrings from bananna republic. i think they still have them there.
and i think that i am doing a cathedral length veil. no beads or pearls or rinestones or anything on it. so, i guess i''d recommend the same.

what a stunner of a dress! you are petite and the dress is intricate, so I would say, you can do dangle earrings that are too big, and maybe a pretty tiara type thing to attach the veil...I would not wear a necklace, since the bodice of the dress is so detailed. Maybe a bracelet, but it really just depends...a simple diamond one that is not too blingy...

ETA: I meant earrings that are NOT too big, duh!

Wow that dress is gorgeous! I think some chandeliers and a blingy bracelet would be gorgeous!

Wow, just wanted to say what a beautiful dress!!! Can''t wait for some pics of you in it!

I would definitely stay with a very simple veil, that way the dress stays the main attraction

Wow, what a pretty dress!
I think a very simple drop veil would be pretty or something like GingerBCookie's - just simple and won't compete with the dress or you. (I don't think you want too much going on other than the dress because you want to shine though.)

Something like this: Reem Acra Addict - Noelle Marie's website

Or Ginger's:

Scintillating...

~~I just love Reem Acra gowns... they are so regal, and the beading & embroidery are just amazing!!!

Your dress is stunning. I would keep your jewellery simple to make your dress stand out even more. I love it

I must say, I feel slightly cheated, what about YOU in the dress?
The dress is gorgeous. I agree with others in keeping the jewelry and veil simple.

I agree. Earrings and a bracelet would be perfect. Some people pile on so much ornate jewlery that it competes with the dress. I would do either dangly, big earrings or a necklace--but not both (and since your dress has so much pretty stuff going on on the bodice, you probably could skip the necklace).

Thanks girls for all of your sweet comments and jewelry help! I will def. post pics of myself at the first fitting. I can''t put the dress on alone and I think the zipper is broken, so it will have to be replaced.

Your dress is gorgeous. Love it!!! I''d keep the jewelry simple. Can''t wait to see pics of you in it.
