Hello all!
We''re married!! and it was sincerely the best day of my life.
two days before the wedding, my maid of honor and I took a mini road trip from DC to Vermont in her hot, little red convertible VW beetle. we''ve taken some memorable trips in the past, so it was the absolute perfect way to spend some quality girl time leading up to the wedding. then my man and his brother, the best man, arrived that the same evening(flew in) so just the four of us got to have an excellent pre-hectic-wedding-guests-all-arriving-at-once evening.
the wedding itself was amazing. the weather fully cooperated which made me a very contented gal. the church ceremony was beautiful and the reception and gardens looked more lovely than i could have ever imagined. all of the friends and family that we love so much were able to make it up to VT and share the day and dance away the night.
of course there were a few hitches along the way -- like the fact that the reddish leather seat of antique rolls i drove to the church in left a rather large, rather reddish stain on the side of my dress -- but honestly, i couldn''t have cared less. all of the meaningful things happened and that was what mattered.
then our honeymoon. i still wish we were there. it was an amazing trip.
so, knowing that every good PSer likes a picture, i''m hoping that you''ll enjoy these my friends have been sending. hopefully, we''ll get the professional shots soon!
