we also had luminaries that lined the exit from the tent and went all the way to the house. unfortunately, the cameras simply could not capture how magical they made the garden look
Oh lulu, I''m sooo happy for you! Everything looks amazing--what a gorgeous location. I was wondering about your dress and I''m glad you found something that made you feel more comfortable. And for $50?!?! You can''t go wrong!! Absolutely love the honeymoon photos--they look like postcards. Where did you go?
I''m glad it all turned out perfectly. As usual, I still get teary eyed looking at everyone''s wedding photos and yours are no exception! Congratulations to you and your hubby!
Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful! Congratulations on your marriage! If your photographs are any indication of the life you have before you, it will be magical.
Oh, lulu!
It sounds like you had an amazing time! I am so happy for you!

I love your cake and centerpieces- very pretty and the site was just gorgeous! Love the tent, love the reception site, love it love it love it!
Oh Lulu the pix are amazing!!! You guys are glowing - the dress is CHIC -- and Castle Hill looks even more magical than it was when we were there over Valentines - though I couldn''t imagine how. So alive & lush.
Couple ?s for ya:
LOVE the bridesmaid dresses... brand? details? (I''m still shopping for a wedding dress & it''s has the flirty cocktail 50''s lines I adore)
Congratulations! Your pictures are amazing, and they make me miss Vermont-my grandfather had a farm in South Reading, which was sold after he passed away, so we don''t get up there anymore. And your honeymoon must have been amazing! Wow!
It's all GORGEOUS!! And I love that you wore your grandma's bracelet -- AND that she was your matron of honor! How special is that?! Just fantastic, all of it!
Congrats!!
PS - I'm getting married at a Castle Hill too (RI, not Vermont) -- hee hee!
ETA: Oh, and I love that heart-shaped stone! Too cute! I'm such a sucker for "signs" too
OMG, I just checked in and saw your post! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR NEW HUBBY!!!!! Your pictures are absolutely precious!!!! You looked so gorgeous and everything was just perfect!!! I sent you a good luck message on the morning of your wedding day- dont know if you saw it or not!!!

ky6: you made a stunning bride and i loved your pictures
IslandDreams: thanks so much for all of the info about PSV -- it was pure bliss!
jcrow: thanks! the vases were actually one project that turned out to be easier than we thought!
curlygirl: we went to a little island called petit st. vincent. it was amazing. i learned about it right here on PS from islanddreams and we knew right away it would be the perfect place for us. and the dress -- i can't believe how lucky i was to find a dress at the last minute that didn't need to be altered. crazy.
Kimberly: thanks, so much -- i'm sure hoping so
Albi: two hurrays for vermont. i really think that it might be most beautiful in the summertime. the lushness and vibrantness of the mountains is tremendous! thanks for the congratulations.
SDL: thanks for the congrats. and please forgive my faux pas however, my *husband's* cousin took a couple of hand shots so hopefully we'll receive them soon. can't disappoint....
jorman: thanks so much! your site looks pretty darn amazing too
decodelighted: thanks for the dress compliment. just what i was hoping to hear
the BM dresses are made by bari jay and i believe they are style #184. the website is www.barijay.com i got great quotes from netbride, but actually a B&M bridal shop matched that price! it definately would fit perfectly with your 50s theme and they are quite reasonably priced. PSV was amazing! i'll write more later, but if you want somewhere to spend quality time with your new hubby with lots of seclusion and privacy, but also lots to do, i would highly recommend it. i promise i'll elaborate
selkie: you and your beau should revisit VT -- quite a romantic state indeed!
ellaila: i've stumbled across your castlehill and that venue looks so great. and your right, my grandma being my matron of honor was so special. she's 89 years old and we have an incredible relationship -- we just get each other, like souls -- having her in the wedding meant the world to me.
AmberWaves: rum punch is so tasty! husband and i were trying to think of certain things that we can take home with us from the honeymoon -- like taking more walks in the evenings together, etc. -- but rum punch might just be something else to incorporate
AmantdeChat: thanks. i love the new dress too. i put it on and it just felt right.
Dani: I did see the message and thanks so much for thinking of me
i was seriously touched
and thanks so much for listening to all the venting!
Thanks mara, melissa sue, michelle, canuk girl, equstrienne and indecisive
we had our reception at the castle hill inn at ludlow, vermont.
