Pink concave cut gem in James Meyer-like setting?

I''m will likely purchase a concave cut pink sapphire. And, I was just wondering if anyone else has set a concave cut gem in an antique-like setting (I''m thinking of something James Meyerish). Would the contrast of concave cut in an antique-like bezel setting look ok?

Any thoughts or photos if you''ve done something similar?
