Pink Spinel Advice

Any suggestions on where to find a nice pink spinel? Lighter/lavendar pinks are my favorite but I could be swayed towards the more vibrant hues. Sizing around 8mm or higher. No budget...

Good pink spinels is harder to find than good pink sapphires. Here is a post from 2005 with a whole list of colored stone vendors. Also you might be able to get someone to source one for you.

I would contact Jeff White. His website is www.whitesgems.com. He''s cut two purple spinel (or is it spinels -- I''ve never been sure of the plural) for me. One is in my avatar. He''s currently looking for a red for me. He can locate rough for you (or he may have some on-hand) and cut it into the shape you desire. He rocks!
