Thanks for looking! :wavey:

It's almost three carats, and from Sri Lanka. It goes from an orangy pink to a purplish pink in sunlight. Love the high crown and facet work.

Very pretty! I think the yellow gold really complements the pink.

TL it is gorgeous!!!!!!!!! you have fantastic taste with pairing stones and settings!

Very pretty! I love how yellow gold enhances pinks (and greens, and blues, and...)! Do you have any photos of the unset stone?

That is gorgeous! The stone almost has an antique quality about it. What a beauty!

TL - is this the padparadscha coloured spinel or am I mixing it up with another? I do like Legacy settings. Does it sit quite high? I find that my garnet in the prong legacy is high. I don't have one of the bezel Legacys but at some point might get one to see the difference. Enjoy wearing it.

Pregcurious - Thank you!!

Sarahbear - Thank you!!

Aofie - Thank you, and here is an unset photo showing the stone more orangy pink

Yennyfire - Thank you!!

LD - No, it's not a padparadscha spinel, but I think it could look padparadscha like in some lighting.
I told the jeweler to extend the prongs due to the high crown, and it does sit a little high. I don't mind as it
sparkles like crazy, so I think I'll enjoy it. Thanks!!

Gorgeous! I reeeeeeaaaallly reeeeeaaaally love that stone.

I LOVE the stone AND the setting! Wonderful together. I'm imagining the sparkles -- with a ton of happiness for you!

Thanks for posting the picture. It does show a bit of its orangey pink side in the photo. It's interesting how the yellow gold halo seems to bring out its pink personality. In either case, very pretty.

Lovely! That ring is beautiful and the stone appears to be quite a little performer. Would love to see more of the basket. Enjoy!

NKOTB - Thank you!!

JewelFreak - Thank you!! Lots and lots of sparkles, which a static photo really cannot convey.
There's also fire, due to the high crown and fine cutting.

Aofie - Thanks! It's actually somewhat of a color shifter, the photo I posted unset is more of it's orangy side. Below is a photo of it's more purple pink side.

Starzin - Thanks!! It is a typical legacy with a surprise diamond in the gallery. I can try to post a photo of it when I get
a chance.

For Starzin, a gallery shot (sorry about the fuzz), and I also provided a full hand shot.

The stone is just perfect in there, especially when showing the purple pink side. With the high crown and precision cutting, it's a beauty!

Very lovely! :appl: BTW , I had a bezel legacy type setting and never set anything in it mainly because the stones I wanted in there really had no wiggle room, and on my hand, it actually looks much bigger than the prong type legacy, though the stone does sit lower.

Thanks for posting those TL, I'm not as familiar with all the proprietary names that fly around here and now I'll never forget the Legacy! It looks just lovely in the yg and the later photos show what a bayoodiful colour change it is - nothing murky about that, a truly Gorgeous stone. The colour suits you so well too, the ring looks lovely on your hand as others have said.

Chrono - Thank you!!

Arcadian - Thank you!! I have a couple of the larger legacies myself, but had prongs added to them. The diamonds are slightly larger on the smaller legacy, but the larger legacy has more diamonds. One of my all time favorite LOGR's is a two tone custom legacy that I'm currently trying to find a 9.5 x 9.5 mm cushion for. I have a stone in there now, but I'm wanting a change of pace. I do that quite a bit, switching stones around in my settings.

Starzin - Thank you for the kind words!! Glad you were able to see the gallery.
