I know that settings have been covered a lot but I’m asking again anyway as there is so much knowledge here.
I have a few new-to-me CS that I want to set at some point. I’ve realized that I don’t love right hand rings so I just swap out that’s on my left hand. And I’ve learned that I love a pretty plain solitaire. I like Tiffany inspired and similar. I don’t care for heads shaped like this (pic from Whiteflash) but that’s a lot of what I see in more affordable settings.
I’m looking for a more rounded look, no diamonds. Simple and classic. Low set. Tulip head or similar okay and I much prefer 6 prongs on rounds (even on small stones) but would consider 4.
Also, the stones I have are on the smaller side (my preference) - 4.7mm round, 5.7mm round, 5.8mm cushion.
Besides Stuller, any other suggestions? I have a pink tourmaline set in an Ivy and Rose setting and like it a lot but I something more simple for these. Ivy and Rose has something that might work but I’d have to ask for custom because of my smaller sized stones and I’m not sure I want to go there because of how lightweight their settings are (unless their custom would still be much less than others).
I’ve looked at jewelryhoo on eBay but nothing they have listed is that I’m looking for.
I don’t have an idea of what I want to spend but don’t want to spend $700 on an $100 stone.
