Platinum wedding band vendors?

I''m looking to buy plain comfort fit platinum wedding bands for my DH and I as an anniversary present to us both. I''ve looked at a couple of sites, but would like some advice on what to look for/avoid by someone with platinum expertise

I''ve looked at different sites already, including e-weddingbands.com, and they seem to have very good prices. Any experiences with them or other vendors?

Did you buy a band? I'm also looking to buy a 3mm comfort fit platinum band.

Blue Nile and e-weddingbands.com seem to have the best prices. Is there much difference in the actual rings between the various vendors or are they pretty much identical?

How much of a difference does the alloy make in a platinum ring? I''ve seen them with a 5% Ruthenium, iridium, or palladium alloy. Is one better than the others?
