Hello, Ladies!

I stumbled upon PS a few weeks ago after my bf asked me some vague questions about what kind of ring I''d want someday and I didn''t know the answer... (this forum has taught me SO much!)

fast forward to last week -- bf picked me up from the airport with a bunch of my favorite lillies and a journal (i''d told him recently how much i missed writing) and the first few pages had a poem he''d written for me and a few setting styles he liked and stock numbers for some diamonds he wanted me to look at!! so i guess i''m officially "in waiting!"

Personally, I''m digging the first ring you selected. I''m a simple girl though, and I like more simple stuff.

Anywho -- sounds like your engagement is coming sooner rather than later, good luck and hopefully your stay on the list is short!

The first setting you listed is definitely my fav, but then, I favor the more simple and classic.

Tacori''s certainly are very yummy! I myself have fallen in love with a Tacori setting which is something I never thought would happen! Having said that, PLEASE consider finding a local Tacori dealer and trying these settings on! I always had a "dream ring" but after trying on multiple settings I fell in love with a setting that was very different than my original idea.

I''m going to have to change my name to TRY IT ON because having done so myself, I highly reccomend that every woman get out there and try on all sorts of different settings - you may be surprised at what you end up falling in love with!

Thank you all so much for your input!! After reading your comments I asked bf if he thought we could go try them on sometime, and he said that he already contacted a local jeweler who carries tacori and asked them to order these styles in so that i can try them on!! YAY!!! i''m so excited!! i can''t believe he''s taking such an initiative with this!! and who wouldn''t want to spend an afternoon trying on beautiful diamond rings?

Hello and welcome to PS. I personally like the second one. My fiance placed the order 2 weeks ago and I can''t wait! Pictures are deceiving so I highly recommend you to visit a local Tacori jeweler and try it. I initially had the Tiffany setting and after analyzing my ring for weeks, I thought it was too plain. I made the mistake the first time by just shopping online and not trying it on. Please don''t make the same mistake I did. It makes such a difference.

*On the side note, I feel really bad and wasn''t too sure if I should change my setting since it will be more money, but my girlfriends told me this will be the ring I will wear forever so it has to be perfect. I told my fiance and he was so understanding about it. Poor guy, and it''s all because of my fault.

Thanks for all of your help!! my bf and i went to try on the rings and i completely fell in love with this one!! it''s GORGEOUS in person!!

they didn''t have the one with the baguettes yet so we''re going to try that one on when they get it in, but i think this may be the one!!

the jeweler said that it may take 6 to 8 weeks to make my ring once we order it, so i guess i''ll be waiting a while -- but ladies, i think it''s going to be worth it!!

i am brand new to pricescope but i am loving reading about everyone''s experiences!! I myself am whistling and waiting, and love tacori, i have small hands so we went and I tried on a bunch of styles but the ones I loved online didn''t look that great on my hand, but I did fine one I LOVE so I''m hoping that is what I get. We will see

I def agree, If you try a ring on, it will SING to you! I thought I liked a few things that really wouldn''t work. I HATE a clunky setting, it feels awful to me. So def try things on!

....BTW...that was a very cute and thoughtful gesture by your BF to get you a journal...It shows how well he listens to the little things you say...and the poem with pictures of settings!!! What a perfect way to start talking about engagement rings!!
