Hello all. I am quite new to diamonds and have been considering this one below. I noticed on the 360 degree view the area I have circled in red and I am not sure what this is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have no idea - maybe a crystal inclusion? It looks cool!

Does this have a lab report?

This is the GIA report

Hi Kenny. There are many folks more knowledgeable than I am on such matters, but it looks like inclusion in the photo to me. However, a VVS2 should be very clean. The plot shows a pinpoint inclusion. Not sure what that is in the picture, or why the plot does not seem to match the photo, but I would probably look for another diamond to avoid the hassle.

Looks like a way bigger inclusion than a pinpoint? I'd look at other options unless the price is amazing. Inclusions on the table are a dealbreaker for me and i love me my included stones.

Can you post a link to the video or post the video? I’m wondering if it’s reflecting something.

This is the 360 animation. You can click and drag to start/stop the diamond. Thank you all for the help!!!

That’s definitely just a reflection of something as you can see it in different areas as the diamond turns

Have the vendor check and make sure this is the correct image for the diamond represented by the GIA report. It does not appear to be.

It is possible that there is some dirt or wax or something on the stone that is showing in the photo, It is also possible it is a photo of a different diamond. But that feature is way bigger than the pinpoint indicated by the report.
