Please help me find a new Amethyst....

Hi all -- looking to get a larger amethyst for my existing rhr (see pics below)
..I overpaid for my existing 4ct cushion and now that I''ve found ps, hope I can find a different one.. as this one is a bit "flat".
I''ve been looking at the various gemstone sites listed here... but can''t find what I''m looking for.
Would like a purple (with red flashes) emerald cut OR oval ... 5 to 8ct.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!

oops, one more you can see the color a little

Go to http://www.multicolour.com/single.html and select "amethyst". Then sort by weight... large to small (upside down triangle). You hit 8ct at around page 17 and there are quite a few as you work your way down to 5ct.

If you want an amethyst with the red flash, give Wink a call at www.winkjones.com or Gary at www.diamondexpert.com and ask for their help. If you give them the dimension of the ring, they can find an amethyst that will fit that setting.

Thanks Chrono, I will do that -- I''m also thinking about Richard Wise -- i''ve seen some nice stones on his site. I would like a siberian...

Oh yes, Richard Wise has excellent quality stones. A good choice if he has any amethysts available.
