I totally feel like the PS Bride who cried "Dress!!" because I''ve had about 3 dress threads already. Sorry about that. Apparently I am fickle about my wedding gown. Me thinks it has something to do with the vast amount of time I have to find the one for me.
I visited a consignment bridal shop near my home yesterday to see what they had. I love the idea of this place because I can all of a sudden afford couture bridal without the price tag! Most of them are samples but some were actually worn in a wedding.
I tried this one gown that was pleasantly surprising. It wasn''t anything I though I''d go for originally but it suited me and the SA loved it.
Its a Michelle Roth or a Henry Roth design (I made the mistake of not looking at the tag in the dress)
Silk satin, strapless, beaded empire waist and drop waist. Slight ruching around midsection (just a few folds of fabric). A-line skirt.
All of the pics are camera phone pics.
In the first pic the gown was drooping a little on me because it needs to be taken in a smidge at the top. I had forgotten to pull it up to where it should be before she took the pic.
If anyone can come up with the style# and a model pic that would be fantastic! I haven''t had much luck so far.
