Please help me understand melee pointer size...

Ok, so, I thought I understood this, but I still haven't wrapped my brain around it? I'm certain there is already a link that has pictures, a chart, an explanation... I'm pretty sure Gypsy has kindly explained this a few times, and my search button isn't working properly. Any help would be appreciated. I keep hearing the look I want is 2 pointers, but that just sounds big, when I hear others get 1.8, and this is considered half pointers? I'm confused... I feel like I used to have a better grasp.

I think you are referring to 1.8mm = 2.5 pointers = 0.025 carat melee.

1.7mm is .02 ct
2.0mm is .03 ct

Just wanted to comment on the search not working on PS...it hasn't worked for me for several weeks now...I emailed them but no response.

Anyone else having this problem or know how to solve it?
