Hi Everybody!

I have been reading posts daily, but really had not responded much because of my new busy research job and adjusting to living in a new city (San Diego). I miss the interaction with you gals~!!

Though I don''t plan to get the lucky manicure, I have a hunch that my dearest boyfriend WILL PROPOSE this holiday season! Not sure when and we won''t have a ring, but our plan has always been to be engaged first (he wants it to be a surprise) and THEN pick out a ring together.

More than anything in the world I want to be this man''s wife..... so please, keep your fingers crossed for me and wish me LUCK!!!!

Thank you so much EVERYBODY! I arrived in PA after being stuck in the airport for a horrible midnight 4 hours. After being picked up by him our car got hit by a mindless driver in the Whole Foods parking lot.

Luckily the damage was not too bad and it was clearly the other driver''s fault. Still, it just made the start of my 2-weeks winter vacation a bit uneasy....

BUT. In the process of the the car incidence I see the side of him that''s so kind, compassionate, and patient and I feel SO LUCKY to have him in my life... We will drive to Boston this weekend to spend the X''Mas with his family. Wish me luck!

I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Be healthy, safe, and Happy!!!

SDL, I will definitely give you a call in Jan. Hopefully with something blingy to show-off.....

Boo! to getting stuck in the airport so late at night...and to getting involved in a parking lot accident (those WF drivers are nuts, LOL!)
