Please show me your cushion halos!Accent stone sizes needed!

Hi Ladies.

I am designing a 2 ct cushion cut etc. and I need to see pictures of
the accent stone sizes. Around halos and bands.

I'm learning and researching and have been googling for pics using this size chart for reference to PT sizing around halos and bands.

(** A mistake on their scale. 1.7 carat weight of .02 should be 2 pts. They misprinted saying 1 pt.)

Many pics I've google all show .5 pts = 1 mm around halo, but that is kinda small for me...................I like a bit more punch.
I've seen only a couple pics of bigger accent stones around halos and I quite like them so am looking
for more to have a fair comparison.

Not garish but not too dainty is my personality.

Make sense? Classy but with a little "bang" classy.

I'd love if anyone can post their halos, even round I guess, that show the size of their accent stones around halos,
and accent band stones.

If you could post a quick pic and list the pt size of halo and band stones I'd really appreciate it!

I'd like to see what .5 points (.005 carat = 1mm) up to 2.5 points ( .025 carat = 1.8mm) accent stones and band accent stones around halo look like.

If you don't mind, could you ladies post some pics and help me decide on size for my ring!

My ring is a rounded corner radiant which looks much like a cushion cut. My halo is small so maybe it will help you know more of what you don't want since you want a larger halo. I also have side stones. Here are the specs:

Center stone is 2.52cts
Side specialty bullets are .26cts each
The halo and shank diamonds are all .008pts each
Total carat weight of the ring is 3.37

Hi Neil, thankou for the suggestion and yes, I did ask tons of questions already. Just looking for pics of larger point accent stones around cushion or princess cuts. Hard to find pics with the larger ones around halo "listing" sizes of accent stones.

Thanks for your pic and stats! THAT picture helps me so so much. I just made my final decision last night actually stats listed below.

Okay, so you chose .008 carat accent stones around halo. Lays somewhere between 1MM and 1.3 MM at .8 PT accents.
I chose .02 carat = 1.7MM = 2 PT for accent stones.
You're 2.52 ct main stone. I'm 2.25 ct main stone.

My specs aren't really "that" different then yours which is why I LOVE YOUR RING!!! Love your side speciality bullets too. You have a BEAUTIFUL ring. Wow, lovely. Classy but not small wth not too tiny accents. That's my style. Love your ring! And your stackable rings too with it. Looks awesome!

THANKYOU so much for coming by everyone. I will post my ring when it is ready in a few months.

It will be a 2.25 carat cushion cut double halo with 2 PT = .02 carat = 1.7MM accent stones.
Same size accent stones on Halo and Band. Double row of accent stones on double shank band or single row band on single band. The band is my last decision this week then the order is put in! So happy!

OP, the stones in my halo are 0.5-0.6 pointers, with the larger stones in the corners (since it's a round in a cushion shaped halo).

Center: 2.43 (8.7mm)

LOL I'm terrible at math! All I know is there are 36 rounds in the halo and band for a total of .32 pts.

**I think I saw a ring with 2 smaller corner stones, 8 smaller stones in corners in total on halo.
With the 16 total bigger accent stones. It was shaped 4 bigger stones in a row, 2 smaller stones in corner, 4 bigger in a row, and so on. Like that all the way around the cushion cut in the halo. Now that you brought this up maybe I was not imagining the "oh so" smaller 2 corner stones. The halo had 2 prongs setting in each corner. I think maybe it was to accommodate room for the spacial size for the 2 prongs in each corner of halo cushion cut? I'd never have thought I wasn't imagining it until you said you also have different size corner stones. Just, bigger.

So why bigger stones in corner?

-And Msop04, I love your ring too! So so pretty gosh!! Big center stones you 2 guys have! I really love those rings. And you have what, 3 bands? Hard to see. But in all it's again very unique and eye catching. Beautiful configuration. Wow!

I know right ladies?! .8pt =.008 carat. So hard not to get the pt and carats mixed up ha ha. Easy to mess up with this so intricate decimal spacing isn't it!
