Please tell me if this 0.30ct is good

Hi all, I have had my eye on this for awhile and it sold, then was returned a few months later. The fact that it was returned makes me think it may not be as great IRL.

I like big chunky facets and for a MRB this seems to have fat arrows.
Scores a 1.3 on the HCA, I like the video, and find the SBF to be a bonus not a detractor.

Could I please get some opinions on how you think it will perform? I have it on hold until Monday. At the moment I am not looking for alternatives, just opinions on this specific one. Thanks PS people!

I wouldn't stress about it being returned - it might have been upgraded

I'd go for it! You can check the SBF at home for any haze/milkiness - the Returns policies mean you could return it if something is amiss (I think - check them!)

Looks like a winner - keep in mind there are many reasons why someone might return a diamond which has nothing to do with the quality of the diamond, including not going forward with the project or changing mind about diamond shape/size/color or no longer within budget especially in these unpredictable times.

Blue Nile is a great vendor with a solid return policy, and the diamond looks solid, so I also say go for it.

IMO, the lower girdle half length measurement seems to be off to me. Usually I look for 75 to 80%, but this one is at 70% so seems a bit off. Just my thoughts.

True. I think this is why it has the chunky pattern under the table, which is appealing to me. I know it isn't within the superideal parameters or the traditional facet pattern, but am hoping it still performs well. Fingers crossed!

So, I bought it and set it as a pendant. Definitely a different look than most MRBs but I really like it. It has more of an oec flavor with the broader flashes. Unfortunately being around my neck means I never get to see aforementioned flashes... if I am really critical, it has less movement under the table than I had expected.
