We''ve been ring shopping and have decided on a style and know we will get married next year but I want a romantic proposal complete with my dream ring!

My husband and I started dating one month after I turned 18. We got engaged when I was 20 and he had just turned 23.

ETA: We got engaged on the beach in the spot where we had our first kiss. We had picked out the ring together so it wasn't a suprise, but I cried my eyes out the moment he went down on one knee.

June 16, exactly two months later we found out I was pregnant! I already had my dress so we bumped up our New Years wedding. We were married August 22, 2004, the third anniversary of our first date!

Wow, that''s love at first sight! I thought we had it and we only waited 7 months after meeting to get engaged! I was 28.

When you know, you know. My Aunt Marge and Uncle Warren married on their 3rd date in less then a month they were married for nearly 75 years before he passed on...Gives the rest of us hope...22 dating same boy since 17 no ring yet, but then I am still in school.

Geez, I guess I''m the late bloomer here! I had to kiss a lot of frogs before I found my prince. Actually, we met 12 years ago when I was 22 but didn''t reconnect for quite a while. So, engaged at 34, he''s 35. When we get married, we''ll both be 35. I think NYC is different than the rest of the world--Sex and the City was not a totally inaccurate portrayal of the lives of my circle of friends! We all think 30 is the new 20!!

I live in Vancouver, BC. We are definitely in the minority in terms of being married so young, plus we are parents! The only married couples (and couples with children) that we know are in their thirties or forties.

My husband emigrated to Australia and I had to finish school before I could join him, so we ended up marrying when I was 19 and he was 20.
