OK, so what do you guys think? I''m very interested in these cookes: www.auntienalaniscookies.com. My wedding is on the Big Island of Hawaii at the Hilton Waikoloa Village ( www.hiltonwaikoloavillage.com ). Do you guys think it would be better to give these cookies as wedding favors at the reception? Or would it be better to have these given to guests as they check into the hotel - as a welcome gift?

If you give them as welcome gifts will you then have something else in mind for wedding favors? I like the idea of welcome gifts, especially at a location wedding. I went to one in Pennsylvania and the bride gave gift baskets to the OOT guest with tickets to a show, gift certificates, map of the area etc.

I vote for using them as a welcome gift! I also recently went to an OOT wedding and recieved a welcome basket at check-in (wine, crackers, cookies, etc.). I thought it was a very thoughtful touch. The cookies look fantastic btw!

How cute these are! What size is the lauhala box? If they are around 4x4 or less, I think they would look wonderful set at each place setting at the reception. They would make a wonderful welcome gift too. There is actually another great company on the Big Island that has cookies to die for. Here''s their website. I think they do cookie favors too.
