Prayers for Southern California

We are watching the evening national news. Parts of SoCal look like hell on earth. Fires out of control due to 100 mph winds . People , trying to evacuate, are stuck in gridlock traffic and abandoning their cars and dragging suitcases, children and pets in their attempts to get away from the fires. It’s just unbelievably sad and frightening and just plain unreal. I’m a Calif. native. It was a beautiful place to grow up. If you believe in the power of prayer, please pray for the winds to die down so that the firefighters can get these infernos from Hell under control.

I hate when the weather is like this. It really makes me anxious, especially with so much wilderness around me, plus careless people. So many freaking fires when we get these winds.
