I watched The Blind Side last night, and throughout the WHOLE movie I kept getting distracted by Sandra Bullock''s HUGE princess cut ring, and giant diamond studs! I guarantee that if I had seen this movie a year ago, I never would have even noticed her jewelry, lol. I also am always catching myself checking out peoples'' rings (any kind of rings, not just e-rings) in real life now too. I NEVER used to notice this stuff! aaaack.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Although I don''t notice jewelry in movies, I definitely notice women''s rings a lot more than I did before I was on PS.

LOL!

me too, have you seen kate hudson''s humongous tiffany novo in that god awful movie Bride Wars??

HAHA. Agreed. I spent all of Thanksgiving checking out the e-rings sported by the women in A''s family, lol.

haha I haven''t seen that movie yet!! I''ll have to check it out!

I''m getting really bad about checking out rings. A girl in my office got engaged several months ago before my own engagement mindset got kick started, and although I gushed over her ring, etc, when she made the announcement, I have totally forgotten what it looks like and I keep trying to steal discreet glances at it, but I am paranoid about being too obvious so I never really do get a good look at it! lol. I''m so lame.

It''s not just you, I saw that movie and tried to figure out the size of that diamond the entire movie! I currently have a 2 1/4 princess and I think it''s about two times the size of mine!

I''m just so amazed at how different the Pricescope rings are from the "real life" rings! In my town you don''t see much over a carat and not much other than shapes like RB, Marquis and princess. I''ve never seen anyone with an asscher or emerald cut diamond. On here you really do get spoiled!

lol, i have not seen the movie yet, but I am a hugh Tim McGraw fan so I would probably be looking for him more then the diamond

lol, I saw the movie a few weeks ago and thought the same things throughout the movie! Those diamond earrings were

! I *think* Sandra''s watch was a J12. I have the white 33mm J12 w/ diamond markers, but the bezel on the J12 in the movie looked slightly different from mine. That one may have been a J12 w/ diamond bezel. Even my oblivious FI noticed the J12 since he just got it for me!

OMG yes I know exactly what you mean. This afternoon I was actually trying to figure out if it would be considered rude to randomly ask co-workers if I could ogle their rings again, since I ogled them all when I was trying to pick out my own, but it''s been so long that I''ve forgotten the details and would like to ogle them again. They all have such beautiful rings.

That''s probably crossing the line into being too weird, though, huh.

Ummm, PS hasn''t "ruined" anything. It''s enhanced your appreciation for things that previously passed below your radar. Life is BRIGHTER, SHINIER, and MORE SPARKLY because of PS!

Add me to this list as well. NEVER used to look at other people''s jewelry before. Since PS I have been known to stare now.

LOL!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing!!!

Add me too! I check out everyone''s left hand more than I can remember and every chance I get. It''s just reflex now!

Oh, you are not the only one. I totally noticed her ring in that movie too, how could you not, it was Huge! I also notice rings on woman once and a while.

I totally know what you mean! I was in a work meeting last week where one of the participants was wearing a gorgeous ~2 carat, 3-stone emerald cut ring with baguettes. I literally couldn''t stop staring! I''ve only been on here for a month or so, but I never used to be like this!
