Pricing flexibility with wedding venues?

I''m really trying to book a venue before I go on vacation Dec. 20. My question is, is there usually any flexibility as to pricing at wedding venues? Were you able to get the pricing down or get anything extra thrown in for free? I''d appreciate if you ladies could let me know if you paid exactly the price on the sheets, and if you got anything extra included in the package. Thank you!

the price is usually flexiable depending on the time of year. another huge discount (the option we went for)is if you book it in less than a year you can usually get their lowest price. not only idid we get their lowest price, but we got the chair covers, rawseafood station, and the vientian table thrown in!! just a few things i found helped us, good luck

All you can do is ask. We asked for everything - heaters if it''s cold, candles, votives, an ailse runner, the sound system during the ceremony, and a discount. We got 10% off the food and rental costs - which saved hundreds!
