princess diamond with a sapphire halo?

has anyone ever seen such a thing or can you doctor up a picture? I would be interested in this kind of setting!

For an e-ring I like the idea of the sapphire center with diamond halo, but that ring in Wink''s gallery is calling out to me right now for a RHR!!

I like the sapphire halo. That is a beautiful ring! It is so unique. I think a sapphire with diamond halo would be great too but the first is more e-ringish. Let us know what you decide.

I was considering that style when looking at e-rings. In person, however, I didn't love them as much. I think the problem was because the halo is darker than the diamond, so the dimensions of the diamond are clearly delineated. Even with sparkle, they didn't tend to grow like others do in great lightening. It is possible that I simply didn't see great diamonds in the settings, but I was generally disappointed when I finally saw them in person. (I had been pretty much sold on the style up to then.)

I hope you find a beautiful version of the design!

eta: Wait! I just read your reply. I LOVE the sapphire surrounded by a diamond halo look! My sister has that with an emerald cut sap and it is BEAUTIFUL!
