I can''t stand the guy but i think santino''s line is gorgeous!!! Very feminine and romantic. I really like daniel''s too, classic and very wearable. I am disappointed with chloe though. I got hooked agian this season cuz my realtor is friends with Chloe''s sister, and we all love her clothing store here. I was so proud to see a Viet on national TV doing fashion. I loved almost everything she made throughout the season and the stuff in her store here, but do NOT like her final showcase. What is up with the big bell sleeves and HATING all that print. bleah. I''m not too in to print I guess

I love the show but was so disappointed when Nick got the boot. To me, he was one of the top 3, if not the most talented. I didn''t click on your weblink but have watched every episode of the show. Can''t wait to see the finale!

Oh FG, I too was sooooo disappointed when Nick left. He was my favorite. A real nice guy and very talented. He at least deserved to be in the top four (since at least all four actually get a runway show at Fashion Week). And IMO, definitely top three.

yeh i totally didn''t get Chloe''s deal at all!!! and i loved all her other stuff- but not her last show runway stuff.

i really like daniel and i want him to win. i think he''s fab. but, i wouldn''t be surprised to see santino win. they really played him up last episode.....

I like Daniel V too. Out of all three of them, I hope he wins. But Santino''s collection was not horrific like most of his pieces on the show. I just really hate Santino''s attitude. Just for that, he shouldn''t win IMO.

And Chloe''s stuff, wow, what was she thinking? I really only liked a couple pieces. Most of her pieces made me think of upholstery and couches LOL.

Santino's clothes seem very glamorous and feminine. Daniel's clothes are much more structured. Both Daniel & Santino's clothes seem wearable by "real" women. Chloe's clothes are just really out there. But usually runway outfits are really "out there." So, who knows.

I guess Santino finally started listening to all the warnings they were giving him about toning it down. It''s not over-the-top; it''s actually wearable and pretty! I was kind of wondering if they were keeping him on because of the drama. Makes for a more interesting show, ya know?

I really really want the white coat that Daniel designed, but I''m also going through a coat phase right now.

At the time they shot the Fashion Week shows, American didn''t know Kara would be eliminated. So - to keep the secret of who the final three were for a couple more weeks, they had Kara produce a collection too & she showed at Fashion Week as well ... they just won''t air her designs on the finale.

They did that last year too with Austin Scarlett. (The irony is ... NY Fashion press, unaware of who the "real" final three were, actually seemed to like Kara''s the best)

I don''t think the winner is clear-cut this year at all ... Santino? Daniel? 50/50.

The producers of the show obviously know who won and I''ve noticed two things about what they are doing ... 1) softening up Santino''s image - showing him with kids/friends etc ... letting him back pedal about his prior actions etc. AND 2) showing Tim Gunn criticizing Daniel, who, up to now, has been ENTIRELY unscathed by any runway criticism and won a record 5 out of 11 or 12 challenges. I think you may be right about Santino ... unless they''re Uber clever and are on to analyzers like moi!

OMG STOP. ROFL. I was so bummed when Nick was cut, and still think he shoulda won!!! I really, really, REALLY hope Santino doesn''t win because he''s a POMPOUS you-know-what. Ugh. I''ll be so pissed if he wins, even if I like his clothes.

I also really love Andre''s designs except the first episode or so when he sat there and cried...that was pretty hilarious actually.

Just got back from a Project Runway finale party. So... what does everybody think?

I''m happy for Chloe, but I just didn''t think it was the best collection.

I'm surprised that Chloe won.
I hated most of her clothes...what was UP with those huge WING sleeves and all that shiny satin?!?!?!!? (I do think they were nicely executed...I just didn't like 'em.)

I loved Daniel's cream colored coat, and a few other pieces, but wasn't a big fan of his loose, just-hang-there tops.

I hate to say it, but I liked Santino's line the best. I thought he got robbed by getting eliminated for not being 'out there' enough. Never thought I'd say it, but there it is!!!

~~Throughout the season, I liked Chloe and Daniel''s designs the best. However, for the finale, I liked Santino''s line the best, and then Chloe''s. I''m really glad she won though!!! I really liked her 13th design (the gold halter dress with pockets)!!

There were things that I liked about each collection and things that I didn''t like.

I liked Daniel''s more structured separates. The red cape thing isn''t something that I''d probably wear, but I liked the way that it moved on the runway. He was the only one with a relatively good attitude about having to make the 13th outfit, and I feel like he was able to pull it together well. However, the judges were right about lack of cohesiveness. It seemed to me almost that he had two different collections. The dresses (well, minus the 13th sheath piece) had a different feel and just did not fit in the chest/back area. Plus, everyone at the finale party I went to felt like the model in the long dress was going to trip or something, and then we started laughing when she did. (I know we''re mean.)

I didn''t really like the wing sleeves and shiny satin of Chloe''s collection, and I really didn''t care for some of the prints that she chose. It did seem to have more cohesiveness though, when all the models walked the runway at the end. Some of her pieces also really emphasized a woman''s shape and curves (in a good way), which I liked.

I don''t think the judges were fair to Santino. They asked him repeatedly to tone it down. He finally does, but in a way that preserves many aspects of his previous pieces. Many had the same shapes and overall look, minus all the feathers and ruffles. He did what they want, and were disappointed because of it. The judges were right about the models breasts not seeming to be in the right place, though.

All in all, I thought it was pretty even and had no idea who would win. All had strengths and all had weaknesses.

I was SHOCKED, SHOCKED, SHOCKED that Chloe won. She doesn''t seem to CARE! I really thought she''d decided to "throw" the thing & make SURE she didn''t win by

A) doing the 80''s prom collection FROM HELL
B) sleepwalking through the episode
C) picking DIANA as her helper - hello no experience!
D) showing up for her "debut" on the runway and final judging IN JEANS

In interviews afterwards she says she''s not leaving Houston & isn''t really interested in being the "next big designer". WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!!

Hilarious that Michael Kors tried to HIRE DANIEL right off the runway at the end too. Like "Um, call me!" and Daniel''s whole vibe said "Um, I think people will be calling me now"

Poor Santino (never thought I''d say THAT). Is his mom not completely Condaleeza Rice''s twin BTW??!! I think he called "Nina" the wrong name in the judging and that sealed his fate. Or maybe the fact she''s probably got a restraining order against him for the # of times it looked like he was 2 seconds away from jumping off the stage and literally consuming her.

Oh well. Guess it was impossible to have another Jay. At least there won''t be Project Chloe.

Phew. When I was watching the final episode, all the people in the room who had never seen Project Runway before loved Chloe and hated Daniel. I was beginning to think I was crazy, and really trying to see why everyone else liked her.

And with the 13th piece, Chloe was being such a prima donna. I mean, I could understand the tears since she was exhausted by that point, but the way she was treating Diana? She basically told her that she wanted her to do it entirely, because she was sick of designing things. Ummmm...

I forgot about that!! Too funny. Like he's gonna be desperate to get a job? I hope not! I don't think he went on Project Runway to end up working for another designer.

Oh well. Guess it was impossible to have another Jay. At least there won't be Project Chloe.

Y'know, that brings up another thing. I am still SO IRRITATED at Heidi Klum for asking Jay to make her dress, demanding that it be red when he wanted to do something more subdued, and then to dump him hours beforehand for another designer with a more subdued dress. Um, what? That was SO rude. I know they do it all the time, but they do it to established designers with other clients....not somebody like Jay who needs the press. That was so rude. I lost a lot of respect for her at that point.

And another thing...(my rant)...they liked Chloe's 13th dress the best...and she basically told Diana - do it yourself, I don't have time and don't want to know about it. So really.....is it a credit to her???

Argh, I totally don't think Chloe's line was that impressive. I hated the big sleeves and the shiny fabric. Eeek!! I do think she did a nice job with the seams, etc., but come on, you're telling me that she won because she can sew a curved seam!!

I think Daniel was definitely the best. Although did you guys see his model (Rebecca I think her name is) trip on the way back during the show?? I thought for sure they would be all over him for having the dress being too long or something.

As for Santino, I liked a some of his dresses, but I must agree with the judges that his tops never seem to fit very well. However, and this really irks me even though I dislike Santino, it is completely wrong to tell Santino that he took the "safe" way out. I mean, did they not tell him every freaking show to stop with all the trims, feathers, etc??? It always kills me with these type of reality shows (even American Idol when I used to watch it in the beginning)...I mean, the judges are never happy! People take their advice and then they say how much they really like the old style. But when they don't change anything, it's the same old story. Argh, it's a complete circle, and I really just want to scream at the judges and make them hear what they have said and how contradictory it is!!!

Jay had some lame excuse for not taking the prize money - and honestly, I thought it was a dumb move. Maybe something about proving he could do it himself, his way? I can''t recall, but I recall the reason being kinda dumb.

I remember the model tripping on Daniel''s dress - did you see Michael Kors'' face afterwards? He was mouthing something about ''that dress'' and rolling his eyes, and I too thought for sure it would come back to bite Daniel in the butt. But either they didn''t mention it or it didn''t make it to the final cut of the show.

Oh well, I am a Santino hater but during the show I remember thinking, "Crap, there''s not even a contest - he won for sure." Then to see him eliminated first was a shock to me. I dislike the guy but still think he shoulda won. I loved that red satin dress with the leather in the top...gorgeous.
